   Very nice composition. May be you need more details and effects (my opinion). May be too many standart MIDI instruments. I also have experience with music composing. You can listen my compositions at http://www.svarsoft.com

      Thanks for the feedback, Svar! Yes, the piece is a bit simple, but that’s largely by design — I didn’t want to write a full-blown piece, just something that captured a particular emotion. Having written it, though, I’m sorely tempted to do as you suggest and expand it out with more details. The instruments are actually from the Vienna Symphonic Library, not GM. 🙂 I’ll check out your music soon!
